Just when I thought everything went right!!

Sometimes, things can get perfect. Well... TOO PERFECT. From this blog post, I wanna tell you guys a little something I experienced a few days ago. At the beginning of a new school year in my country Indonesia (well I don't really know about the other countries out there) we don't start studying from the first week. On the first week, there is some kind of orientation so the students from the elementary school that has just started middle school won't be so terrified. Now, at the end of every orientation in my school, usually every class has to perform something. That's when it hit me.Me and my friends kinda didn't knew that we had to perform something again this year. And the announcement was just one day before the performance day. We panicked!! We didn't knew WHAT to perform!! Just for your information me and my classmates sometimes just can't agree on one thing. So when we have to discuss about something, usually there are different opinions flying around. Just like this discussion. Before we went home, our class teacher asked us to discuss what to perform tomorrow. Most of my friends wanted to do a drama. But we don't have time to discuss again what story we should do and mostly... we didn't even have a script.
So, after SO many opinions and SO many arguments. We came to our conclusion.
We decided to sing Maher Zain's song. Insya Allah! Since its an Islamic song and I go to an Islamic school. :)
The day of the performance, we rehearsed just before show time. I really thought that we sounded good! And for once thought... this is it. This is our time to shine! Time to show our friends from the other classes what we really have. What we are capable of. And for once, we were excited to go on stage.
After break time's over, we went upstairs to the auditorium where events are usually held. We heard something horrible. Something that we didn't see coming! It was the Salahuddin Class' (the 9th grade boys class, we're the 8th grade girls class) singing! No, not their voices. I didn't even check their voices out (but they sung pretty good though). They were singing the exact same song that WE are gonna sing on stage!! I was like... OH MY GOD. There's nothing worse than falling off a chair.... but performing the same thing accidentally! My friends told me to calm down. They said maybe they were just... yknow... warming up for their REAL performance. But I have a really good hunch that they are performing the same song as we are. I know my friends had the same nervous wreck as I am, but they tried to keep calm.
But turns out the Salahuddin Class really is gonna perform the same thing as we are..
Wow. How can things get MORE bad than this?
It turns out the girl students are not alloud to sing in front of the boys. Well to this time I don't really understand why but we CAN'T. And we just can't change the performance right away!! There's just NO TIME!! So the teachers said that we can sing, but not too loud. I was like, okay... so why did we even BOTHER to rehearse if the result is like this?! -_- We did perform pretty great, but I wasn't really happy with it.
Now I just want anyone reading this to just... be careful. Things may become perfect or maybe too perfect, but don't just expect everything to turn right!! EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!
